Alright Managers,

Here is the run down:  Live draft is this Saturday (Aug. 15) @ 7:30 p.m. — If you’re in town, come on over to the Commish’s house for Pizza, beverages & Draft Day goodness (Plan on arriving @ 7:00 p.m.).  If you aren’t around – either plan on drafting via Facebook chat, Google chat, or Skype. If you aren’t able to do the live draft, send me your list (otherwise I’ll draw your picks off the ESPN draft priority list).  Plus, if you are going to draft via online chat, please forward me a copy of your master list just in case we lose our connection.

Also – you have 2 more days to drop any or all of your keepers.  After Wednesday (Aug. 12th) @ 11:59 p.m. your keepers are locked in their opening round positions and cannot be dropped till after the draft is complete.  The finalized list of keepers will be posted on the “Managers & Keepers” page of this website by Thursday (Aug. 13th) @ 11:59 p.m. along with an updated draft order based off of last year’s final standings (using the snake drafting method).

On Saturday Night, the first three rounds will be based on last year’s standings. After the first three rounds are complete, there will be a random drawing for the draft order (still snake method) for the remaining 13 rounds.  After the draft is complete, allow a few days for your ESPN roster to reflect updated draft results.

Happy Drafting!

Best Regards,

Carl Weathers (intern) for Noah Kiser

Keepers: the details

February 10, 2009

With Respect To Your Keepers: keep the following in mind.

  • You do not have to keep 3 players – at any time from now until 3 days prior to our league’s live draft, you can drop one or more of your keepers.
  • Keepers are treated like draft picks during rounds 1-3. For example: If you have only 2 keepers, then your ability to draft free agents begins in round 3.  If you have zero keepers, you begin the live draft in round 1. For everyone that keeps 3, they will count as your first 3 draft picks & you will start drafting live in round 4.
  • Here is the draft order:
  1. Steve G (Fünke)
  2. Krystal L (Lyons)
  3. Matt B (10%)
  4. Campbell S (Fantasy Freak)
  5. Matthew E (Ghouls)
  6. Matt F (Blue Collar)
  7. Anthony T (iWin)
  8. Ryan F (First-timer)
  9. Andy B (D-Flex)
  10. Jonathan K (Viva)
  11. David S (Aces)
  12. Noah K (Prezel)

Any Q’s you may have can be directed to Carl Weathers (Intern to the Commissioner).

Coming Soon…

February 7, 2009

Most of the managers have declared their “Keepers” – if you are a manager and have not yet, please do so asap (with the exception of the 2 new managers we are welcoming into the league – they get an extension since they just saw their rosters for the first time this evening).

Speaking of… Andy B & Anthony T – have taken over ownership/managerial duties for DFlex & iWin2008. We welcome both of them and I personally look forward to beating them soundly next season.

I will be updating the “managers/keepers” page very soon with the info i have received. Watch for that!

Also if you want to get a jump start on next season – go ahead and get your free ESPN account set up (our league will be hosted on their site next season).
