Pre-Season 2009 Announcements
August 10, 2009
Alright Managers,
Here is the run down: Live draft is this Saturday (Aug. 15) @ 7:30 p.m. — If you’re in town, come on over to the Commish’s house for Pizza, beverages & Draft Day goodness (Plan on arriving @ 7:00 p.m.). If you aren’t around – either plan on drafting via Facebook chat, Google chat, or Skype. If you aren’t able to do the live draft, send me your list (otherwise I’ll draw your picks off the ESPN draft priority list). Plus, if you are going to draft via online chat, please forward me a copy of your master list just in case we lose our connection.
Also – you have 2 more days to drop any or all of your keepers. After Wednesday (Aug. 12th) @ 11:59 p.m. your keepers are locked in their opening round positions and cannot be dropped till after the draft is complete. The finalized list of keepers will be posted on the “Managers & Keepers” page of this website by Thursday (Aug. 13th) @ 11:59 p.m. along with an updated draft order based off of last year’s final standings (using the snake drafting method).
On Saturday Night, the first three rounds will be based on last year’s standings. After the first three rounds are complete, there will be a random drawing for the draft order (still snake method) for the remaining 13 rounds. After the draft is complete, allow a few days for your ESPN roster to reflect updated draft results.
Happy Drafting!
Best Regards,
Carl Weathers (intern) for Noah Kiser

2008 Champion – Pretzel Day
December 22, 2008
The 2008 Vandelay Industries FF Champion: NOAH KISER (Pretzel Day)

- Vandelay Industries FF Trophy
- 2008 Champion
Noah Kiser was born in a small city in the “tidewater” portion of Maryland. In his formative years he was known as the “prodigy” – but the acclaim rolled off his back like water off a duck. Humility was always his greatest pride. Noah’s career as a Fantasy Football Manager began during the 2006 NFL Season. He co-managed a team with his brother (name not given); they lost miserably, coming in very last place. The following season, Noah threw off the weight of his brother and began to forge his own Fantasy Football path – the outcome? Victory. 1st place. This marks the second (straight) league championship for Noah, but it means little (see earlier comment on his excellent humility). Its the love of the game, nothing more and nothing less. Noah lives a quiet life with his wife in Augusta, GA.
